Weekend Reads: Parenting, Halloween & TV Recommendations

I feel like this might be a good time to tell you guys, that while Fall is my favorite season, and October signals the beginning of it, I categorically loathe Halloween. I scurry home from work early if it's during the week, order in food (not really all the different from most of my nights lately) and go to bed early. I want no part of it! No slutty this or slutty that, no people in gorilla suits lumbering toward me drunkenly. No thanks! The only costume I'll be in this year is my pajamas.
